The Study Of The Effect Of I'râb (Inflections And Last Vowels) On The Meaning Of Verses Within The Scope Of Some Qur'an Translations

Quran desires its readers make an effort to understand it. As a result of these efforts two methods has emerged in understanding of Quran. The first one is tafsers which handle verses with their possible meanings,the second is interpretations which mostly takes only one meaning from possible meanings of verses. For all the meaning methods the first tool that reader needs is Arabic language. In Arabic language there are different meanings because of irab, and this diversifies the meaning of verses. The situation is different in Meals (interpretations). In Meals, one or a few possible meanings can be reflected depending upon the preference of writer. In this study, we handle the reflections of irab in Meals that caused interpretation differentness which was pointed out in tafseers about a word or sentence in verses and.

Kur’an muhataplarından kendisinin anlaşılması hususunda çaba göstermelerini ister. Bu çabalar neticesinde Kur’ân’ı anlamada iki yöntem ortaya çıkmıştır. Birincisi âyetleri çeşitli yönlerden ele alan ve muhtemel manaların gözetildiği tefsirler. İkincisi ise âyetin muhtemel manalarından –çoğunlukla- sadece birine yer veren meâllerdir. Hangi anlama yöntemi olursa olsun muhatabın ihtiyaç duyduğu ilk malzeme Arap dilidir. Arap dilinde bir kelimenin i’râbı itibariyle birkaç ihtimali düşündürmesi, âyetin anlamının da çeşitlenmesine sebep olmaktadır. Meâllerde ise durum farklılık göstermektedir. Yazarının tercihine bağlı olarak bu vecihlerinden biri ya da birkaçı tercümeye yansıtılabilmektedir. Biz bu çalışmada, âyetteki bir kelime ya da cümle hakkında tefsirlerde belirtilen ve anlam farklılıklarına sebep olan i’râb vecihlerinin meâllerdeki yansımasını ele alacağız.
