Mekkî b. Ebî Tâlib’in el-Keşf ‘an Vücûhi’l-Kırâʾâti’s-Seb’ Adlı Eserine Tevcîhü’l-Kırâʾat Bağlamında Bir Bakış

The science of qirāʾat which is described as different reading styles of the Qur'anic words, has emerged during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). This is a clear case in the sources that started with the Prophet’s permission to read Quranic verses in one’s own dialect and is also known as “the seven letters”. Because of this, the Prophet permitted people to read the words of revelation according to their dialects and he also practiced like this. As it is mentioned in the sources, it may not be possible to talk about the existence of tarjeeh or hujjah for this period. Although it cannot be said that there are a systematic and methodical tarjeeh and hujjah phenomenon in this period, in this period the nucleus of tarjeeh and hujjah emerged since different reading styles started and the companions of Prophet who did not like the reading of each other criticized these readings. In this study, firstly we deal with the seven letter case of Qur'anic reading differences, the historical background, and the development process of ihtijaj. Afterward, the place and importance of the subject within the Qur'anic sciences will be determined and Makkī b. Abū Tālib’s work al-Kashf will be analyzed.

Kur’ân lafızlarının okunuş keyfiyetleri olarak tanımlanan kıraat olgusu, Hz. Peygamber döneminde hayatiyet kazanmıştır. Bu durum, farklı kıraatlerin ortaya çıkmasında önemli rolü olan “yedi harf” diye de bilinen, Hz. Peygamber’in insanlara vahiy lafızlarını kendi lehçelerine uygun olarak okuyabilme serbestisini tanımasıyla başlamıştır. Bu ruhsatın neticesi olarak Hz. Peygamber vahyin farklı lehçelerle okunmasına izin vermiş, kendisi de bu şekilde uygulamıştır. Her ne kadar tercih ve hüccet olgusunun sistematik anlamda bu dönemde varlığı söylenemese de, farklı okuma biçimlerinin başlaması, bunun akabinde birbirlerinin okuyuşlarını tenkit eden sahabenin kendi okudukları kıraati savunmak maksadıyla meseleyi Hz. Peygamber’e taşıması, söz konusu hüccetin nüvesinin bu dönemde olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle, İbn Mücahid’e kadarki süreçte kıraat ilminin sistematik tekâmülünde önemli yere sahip ihticâc olgusunun tarihsel arka planı ve gelişim sürecine dair hususların tespiti yapılacaktır. Ardından hüccete dair çalışmaların bir numunesi ve bu alanın önemli çalışmalarından Mekkî b. Ebî Tâlib’in (ö. 437/1045) el-Keşf adlı eseri tahlil edilecektir.
