Merv’de İslâmî İlimlerin Doğuşu (Hicrî İlk İki Asır)

Merv, the first center and one of the four largest cities of Khorasan, had undergone some radical changes, which also influenced the history of the region it was located, in political, military, social, cultural and scientific aspects since its conquest. In this context, the emergence of Islamic sciences in Merv and its status in the first two centuries a.h. will be handled and some scientific personalities of the period will be mentioned within the scope of the article.

Horasan’ın dört büyük kentinden bir tanesi ve ilk merkezi olan Merv şehri, fethinden itibaren içinde yer aldığı bölgenin tarihî seyrine de tesir eden siyasî, askerî, sosyal, kültürel ve ilmî bir takım köklü değişimler yaşamıştır. Bu bağlamda makale kapsamında, Müslümanlar tarafından nihâî olarak fethedilmesinden sonra Merv’de İslâmî ilimlerin doğuşu ve hicrî ilk iki asırdaki durumu ele alınacak, bu ilim dallarında öne çıkan birtakım şahsiyetlere yer verilecektir.
