Abdullah Eyyûbî’nin Okçuluğa Dair Eserinin Osmanlı Kırk Hadis Edebiyatı Çerçevesinde Değerlendirilmesi

While narrations on a certain subject can be collected in voluminous works, smaller volumes can also be written considering practical purposes. In this context, one of the first genres that comes to mind is the forty ḥadīth literature. This article evaluates the forty ḥadīth selection by ʻAbd Allāh Ayyūbī, one of the scholars of the Ottoman period. The manuscript copies and genre of the work were identified and the differences in naming were mentioned. The writing styles of these forty ḥadīth, which belong to a distinct category of composition, are examined in the context of the potential for another genre’s continuation within a literary or academic context. For this reason, Ayyūbī’s work was taken as an example. It has been observed that the author is generally sensitive to source and style in his selection of forty ḥadīth. It has not only been translated but also short commentaries have been made on some ḥadīths. It should be stated that the work has the potential to provide data for new evaluations regarding the diversity of writing in the forty ḥadīth literature of the Ottoman period.

Belirli bir konuya ait rivayetler hacimli eserlerde toplanabildiği gibi pratik amaçlar gözetilerek daha küçük hacimli telifler de yazılabilmiştir. Bu çerçevede akla ilk gelen türlerden birisi de kırk hadis edebiyatıdır. Şekil ve içerik olarak Osmanlı dönemi, kırk hadis yazımında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu makalede Abdullah Eyyûbî’nin okçuluğa dair kırk hadis seçkisi hem kendi özellikleri itibariyle hem de Osmanlı dönemi kırk hadis edebiyatının yazım serüveni çerçevesinde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Eserin yazma nüshalarının ve türünün tespiti yapılıp isimlendirmeye dair farklılıklara değinilmiştir. Ayrıca farklı bir yazım türü içerisinde yer alan bu kırk hadis yazım şekli, bir edebî veya ilmî tür içinde diğer bir türün devam etmesinin olanağı çerçevesinde konu edinilmiştir. Bunun için Eyyûbî’nin eseri örnek olarak ele alınmıştır. Müellifin kırk hadis seçkisinde genel olarak kaynak ve üslup hassasiyetinin olduğu görülmüştür. Sadece tercümeye yer verilmemiş, bazı hadislerde kısa şerhler de yapılmıştır. Eserin, Osmanlı dönemi kırk hadis edebiyatı yazım çeşitliliğine dair yeni değerlendirmelere veri sunacak bir potansiyelde olduğu ifade edilmelidir.
